The AI Assisted SEO & Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) program is an intermediate-level workshop designed to help digital marketers and SEO professionals integrate AI tools into their daily workflows and automate many tasks related to research, keyword analysis, content creation, and optimization.
The first part of the workshop focuses on using AI tools to accelerate daily SEO operations such as search intent analysis, website auditing, and building topical maps for content planning. The second part introduces Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), an emerging approach that focuses on structuring content and managing digital entities so they can be effectively extracted and cited by AI systems.
By the end of the program, participants will gain practical knowledge on how to use AI to improve SEO performance, as well as develop strategies that help brands achieve visibility within modern AI platforms.

Course Content

An introduction to the evolving search landscape in the age of AI and the concept of the 70/30 rule for integrating AI into SEO tasks. Participants will explore methods for automating daily workflows such as intent clustering and predictive website audits. This section also introduces the fundamentals of prompt engineering for SEO professionals and includes a practical exercise on building a topical map using AI tools.

Understanding modern content standards in the AI era and how to structure and format content so it can be easily interpreted by intelligent systems. Participants will learn about the Cyborg Writing Workflow, which combines AI capabilities with human expertise. This session also explores methods for automating smart internal linking within websites.

A practical application of on-page and content optimization using semantic AI tools such as Surfer SEO. Participants will also explore tools used for technical SEO automation and AI agents such as Sintra AI and Gumloop. Additionally, this section covers reporting and AI visibility tracking using analytics tools such as the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit.

An introduction to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and how AI systems rely on it to retrieve and generate information. Participants will learn how to structure content to make it easier for AI systems to extract answers using the “Answer First” model. This section also covers entity management and building a citation ecosystem that supports brand visibility. A hands-on exercise will focus on rewriting content according to GEO principles.

A comparison of generative answer platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, highlighting how each platform presents and retrieves information. Participants will learn how to measure visibility across AI platforms, including methods for tracking AI-driven traffic and Share of Voice.
